Private Yoga Session

Movement for you.

The physical and emotional changes we experience throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period are unique to each individual. One-on-one sessions are an opportunity to focus on you – and you alone – and your specific needs and goals.

Personal sessions are available for pregnant and postpartum women, either in-studio or the comfort of your own home. You will be led through a safe, nurturing and completely customized movement practice that incorporates elements of yoga and Pilates, and supports you both physically and emotionally.

My goal is to help you feel your best by training the core muscles in a functional manner to build strength and resiliency. Together we’ll address your specific movement patterns and posture, and build a strong foundation of understanding so you can implement these concepts into your daily life.

One on one Sessions can help:

  • Improve posture and alignment
  • Reduce pain, discomfort and weakness
  • Feel more confident in your body’s ability to birth your baby
  • Prepare your body for a smoother birth and postpartum healing process
  • Minimize the effects of pregnancy related issues (such as weakened abdominal and pelvic floor muscles)
  • Balance your nervous system
  • Strengthen and tone your body
  • Restore weakened and compromised core muscles
  • Feel more energized and alive

In-home and in-studio sessions can be booked individually or as part of a package, and start at $75. Please contact me for more information about – or to book – one-on-one sessions today!

I found Laura’s sessions super helpful in preparing me for birth. The breathing and alignment work was invaluable for preparing my pelvic floor and body for labor. The alignment work was a good reminder to try and maintain proper posture even as my belly expanded and my centre of gravity shifted immensely. After taking Laura’s course I felt empowered to give birth which was a wonderful place to be.
