Restorative yoga allows us the opportunity to practice letting go and softening, which is such a powerful practice at any time, but especially as you begin to prepare for birth. The poses in this class focusing on releasing tension in and around the pelvis as these muscles are often stiff and overly tense due to the pressure placed on them through pregnancy, Learning how to soften and release tension in the pelvic floor specifically is important not only for birth but also for healthy, strong muscles.
